The 4636 Emergency Response Process
This graphic shows the flow of information from a message being sent to 4636, to a response by relief agencies.
In addition to the organizations above, many organizations continue to provide support and there are many related channels of communication and aid (see History). The maps created by Ushahidi and Sahana are being used by more than a dozen organizations, supported by Crisis Mappers. Thompson Reuters Foundation are undertaking an information broadcast campaign through both radio and text-broadcasts. FrontlineSMS, InSTEDD and Energy for Opportunity continue to provide technical support. Microsoft Research are also using the messages to develop English-Kreyol tools to support aid workers.
